Choosing someone you can trust to support you as you work to overcome whatever difficulties you are facing is an important decision and perhaps one that you thought you’d never have to make.

I’d like to tell you a little about my values, experiences and outlook, so you can decide whether you feel I could the right person to support you.

I'm an experienced, BACP accredited therapist, who came to counselling relatively late in life. Having lived through various experiences myself, I can understand the impact life events can have, and this helps me to connect with, understand, and relate to my clients.

I love seeing a client that I'm working with, starting to break free from the negative experiences and emotions that have been holding them back, and to see them begin to develop tools, resources and self-belief, and start to live their in the way they want to.

We live in a diverse society and I value everybody’s right to be who they truly are and to live their lives in their own way. I try to live by this open, accepting and non-judgemental attitude and this is reflected in my approach to counselling.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
